About the Editor
Hi there!
I would like to take a minute or two to introduce myself and let you know a bit about why I set up this site. My name is Sam Johnson and I live in Columbia, SC with my wonderful wife who also happens to be my best friend. If only we all could be so lucky!
Let me first say that remodeling is a definite passion of ours. It doesn’t matter whether it is a vehicle, a house or even the yard. I am a very hands-on type person. I also like to think I am creative as well. It is the big “WOW” I love to get as a reaction from people when they see my latest project.
One of my latest projects is a rather massive undertaking. Imagine trying to restore a 150 year old home that is an almost spitting image of a miniature White House (if 5500 sq ft could be called miniature!) complete with Corinthian columns and oval porch.
We didn’t have the money to hire contractors and had to face the remodel on our own. One day a couple passing the house asked us how we intended to handle the remodel. To this I responded that we would pretend we were eating an elephant. This begged the question, “How do you eat an elephant?”
One bite at a time!
This has been our approach to our remodeling projects. It just goes to prove the old saying that anything worth having takes time. Time and time again friends have asked me why not start a business helping others with their remodeling projects. I have the experience for sure, so why not?
This is why I decided to take my friend’s advice and start www.EverydayFaucets.com. This site allows me to finally work from home while helping others which is a privilege in itself.
I have found helping people realize just how easy remodeling can be, especially when it comes to replacing sink and shower fixtures as well as adding other accessories to help dress up your rooms.
Take your kitchen for example. It will give you the largest return on any money invested and will give you the most joy because we all spend so much time in the kitchen gathering around that one thing we all love… food. Replacing your kitchen faucet and/or your sink will make a huge difference in the way your kitchen looks and the best thing is you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a great look. It can also be fun as well as rewarding knowing you have been able to do something to beautify your home on your own.
It is a sense of pride that I want you to feel from knowing that you installed your own new kitchen faucet or bathroom shower head. Go ahead, take a look at my site, www.EverydayFaucets.com, and find a new faucet or fixture today. Next thing you know you will be remodeling your kitchen or bathroom just like a pro!
Have fun and happy remodeling!
